Fly Forward
An Orange Age of Aerospace
The Oklahoma Aerospace Institute for Research and Education is a global leader in the aerospace industry. It serves as a testing ground for cutting-edge technology, forging a path toward a dynamic future in innovation. Driven by visionary engineers and researchers, this institute propels us into not only a golden age of aerospace exploration, but an orange one.
Join the Emerging Aerospace Collaboratory
The Collaboratory is an adaptive industry consortium that brings global leaders in emerging aerospace technologies together to tackle complex challenges. Through OAIRE, stakeholders develop groundbreaking solutions, navigate policy hurdles, and anticipate key industry shifts. Designed for flexibility and growth, the consortium adapts to the fast-evolving aerospace sector.
Centers
Counter-UAS (CUAS) Center of Excellence
Leveraging Oklahoma’s assets and strategic partnerships, the CUAS Center helps maximize resource efficiency across industries to develop, test and field counter-drone technology.
LaunchPad
OAIRE Launchpad accelerates innovation by bringing together commercial, federal, and academic leaders to collaborate and push the boundaries of flight.
The OAIRE Team
Through the work of a robust workforce of affiliated faculty, engineers, researchers and student technicians, OAIRE is a center of gravity—driving solutions, igniting collaboration, and connecting aerospace and aviation across OSU and beyond.
Our full-time staff and researchers provide expertise and continuity to catalyze resources and complete complex projects with an eye on overall effectiveness and strategy.
Our Statewide Connectivity
OAIRE is intentionally a statewide entity. With core locations in Stillwater, Oklahoma City and Tulsa, we are intrinsically tied to the expansive roots of aerospace in Oklahoma. Our team members are advocates of their communities and through OSU's land-grant mission, OAIRE is ready to help grow the industry and leverage the unique assets that already call the Oklahoma aerospace ecosystem home.
