Transfer Dates and Deadlines
At Oklahoma State, we accept applications on a rolling admission basis, so there's no application deadline. We encourage you to apply early for maximum scholarship consideration.
Fall-entering students
These important dates and deadlines will help keep you on track if you plan on attending OSU in the fall. See dates and deadlines for spring-entering students.
- July 1 - OSU Application opens
Students who've attempted a minimum of seven semester hours of college-level credit after graduation from high school can apply for the upcoming year.
- Dec. 1 - FAFSA opens
The 2025-2026 FAFSA will become fully available to all students and families by Dec. 1. Once available, you should fill out the FAFSA using OSU's school code of 003170 to maximize scholarship and financial aid opportunities.
- Feb. 1 - Orientation and enrollment registration opens
Orientation and enrollment is required for students admitted to Oklahoma State University. Sessions begin in late spring and run through the summer. During your session, you'll meet with academic advisors, confirm your academic college and major, enroll in classes, meet other new students and learn about campus resources.
- Feb. 1 - Housing registration opens
Once admitted, you can register for housing and apply for one of our Living Learning Programs.
You'll select your housing preferences at this time and be placed on a standby list. We'll notify you by June 1 of your OSU housing status. Explore your living and meal plan options.
Please note, transfer students are not required to live in OSU housing and are not guaranteed an OSU housing assignment.

You must submit all application materials by this deadline for full scholarship consideration at OSU.
- Friday before classes start - Final Scholarship Deadline
Last day to submit application materials, such as updated test scores or transcripts, for final scholarship consideration.
Spring-entering students
Here are the important dates and deadlines for students entering OSU in the spring semester.
