There are many outside scholarship sources such as professional organizations, foundations, and corporations. We have provided as much information as we can to help you contact the organization in case you have questions with eligibility. Make sure you check back often since the scholarships are updated year round.

    Multiple scholarships with varying requirements, amounts and deadlines. Generally open to Oklahoma residents.

  • Hearing Loss Association of America Central Oklahoma Chapter (HLAACOC) Scholarship

    Amount: Varies

     

    Application Deadline: April 8, 2019

     

    Eligibility criteria:

    • Attending higher education in Fall 2019
    • Resident of Oklahoma
    • Complete application and 1,000-3,000 word essay of the story of how hearing loss has affected applicant's life.
    • Present documentation of hearing loss, copy of birth certificate or state ID, Oklahoma residence and phone number, transcript showing GPA, Oklahoma institution of higher education acceptance letter.

  • Western Union Foundation Global Scholarship Program

    Amount: $2500

     

    Application Deadline: April 30, 2019

     

    Eligibility criteria:

    • Attending an accredited post-secondary institution
    • Seeking an undergraduate degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics or business/entrepreneurship
    • Between 18-26 years of age on June 1, 2019
    • Provide letter of recommendation from teacher or professor

  • Kay County Council for the Opportunity Center Scholarship

    Amount: $500

     

    Application Deadline: June 1, 2019

     

    Eligibility criteria:

    • Kay County, Oklahoma resident or high school graduate
    • College junior, senior or graduate student
    • Majoring in special education, speech therapy, physical therapy or related field.
    • Enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours
    • 3.00 overall GPA
    • Provide official college transcript, resume, short essay describing future career plans and how plans relate to scholarship application, and 3 letters of recommendation.

  • Desk and Derrick Educational Trust Scholarships

    Application Deadline: April 1, 2019

     

    Award Amount: 10-15 scholarships awarded annually ranging from $1,000-$4,000

     

    Requirements:

    • Overall GPA of 3.20 or higher
    • Citizen of United States or Canada
    • Completion of 2 years of undergraduate studies
    • Enrolled full-time
    • Demonstrate financial need
    • Seeking degree in a field related to the petroleum, energy or allied industries

  • Tulsa Chapter of Accounting and Financial Women's Alliance Undergraduate Student Scholarship

    The Tulsa Chapter of AFWA recognizes the needs of students with special experiences and challenges to overcome. Sponsorships up to $3,000 are provided for those who qualify as a result of persistence and good work that predicts future success.

     

    Application Deadline: May 31, 2019

     

    Award Amount: up to $3,000; determined based on needs and qualifications. 

     

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Completion of 60 hours in Accounting or Finance
    • overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
    • Priority consideration given to women, single parents and students working part-time while attending college full-time
    • Additional consideration given to students who have experienced some break in his/her academic career due to unforeseen life circumstances and/or unique personal or academic challenges

  • Tulsa Chapter of Accounting and Financial Women's Alliance Becker CPA Examination Preparation Scholarship

    The Tulsa Chapter of AFWA recognizes the needs of students preparing for the CPA examination. Through partnership with Becker to award one CPA Prep course to a candidate who meets the qualifications as a result of persistence and good work that predicts future success.

     

    Application Deadline: May 31, 2019

     

    Award Amount: one award of $3,393

     

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Within two semesters from completing the qualifications required by the Oklahoma Accountancy Board to submit a “Qualification Application for Eligibility (OAB Form 001)” for the CPA exam.
    • overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
    • Priority consideration given to women, single parents and students working part-time while attending college full-time

    All required documents listed below must be received in the OSU Office of

    Scholarships and Financial Aid by close of business on March 15, 2019.

     

    Award Amount: Varies

     

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Complete and submit the attached application.
    • Submit a current high school transcript if your highest level completed is high school.
    • Submit your most recent college transcript if you have attended college.
    • Submit the documentation of lineage, including grandparent's World War I    enlistment and discharge papers and all required birth certificates.
    • Certified/notarized copies will be accepted if the following is indicated:     "This is a true and exact copy of the original."
