How to apply
- All incoming undergraduate transfer students who are admitted are automatically considered for scholarships.
- Scholarship selection criteria vary, but can include number of transfer credits earned as well as college GPA.

- You must maintain a minimum GPA and number of credit hours per semester to renew scholarship opportunities each year. Renewable qualifications may vary.
- *Students eligible for both the Transfer Out-of-State Achievement Scholarship and
the Transfer Out-of-State Legacy Scholarship will only receive the scholarship that
provides the greatest benefit to the student.
- Fall-entering students
Feb. 1 for priority scholarship consideration;
June 1* is the OSU Decision Date. Some scholarships must be accepted by this date or they may be cancelled.
August 14* is the last day to submit application materials, such as updated test scores or transcripts, for final scholarship consideration. OSU will accept the July 18 national ACT test scores for scholarship consideration for fall 2020.*
*Dates have been modified for fall of 2020 to provide relief for students due to COVID-19.
- Spring-entering students
Oct. 15 for priority scholarship consideration; the Friday before spring classes begin is the final scholarship deadline.
