How to apply

Oklahoma State University offers scholarships in varying amounts to qualified international undergraduate students. Scholarship awards vary from $4,000 to $10,000 per academic year. International students are automatically considered for scholarships by submitting a completed application for admission. No additional application for scholarship is required.

SAT and ACT scores are computed without the essay score.

 

International students who graduate from an Oklahoma high school are eligible for a full out-of-state tuition waiver to reduce their tuition and fees to in-state rates.

Based on the major students indicate on their application for admission, OSU academic colleges award scholarships. Selection may be based on a number of factors, including test scores and GPA, leadership and community service, written essays, interviews and/or auditions.


 

Scholarship deadlines

  • Nov 1-Early opportunity scholarship deadline

    Meeting this application deadline (including essays) for fall-entering students assures you have taken the best steps towards ALL scholarships OSU has to offer.  

  • Feb 1-Priority scholarship deadline

    You must submit all application materials (including essays) by Feb. 1 to guarantee you're considered for most OSU scholarships.

  • June 1-OSU Decision Date*

    Some scholarships and financial aid must be accepted by June 1* or they may be cancelled. It's also important for incoming freshmen to register for housing and New Student Orientation. 

     

    *Dates have been modified for fall of 2020 to provide relief for student due to COVID-19. 

  • August 14-Absolute scholarship deadline*

    Once this date has passed we will no longer make scholarship offers to entering students. Make sure to have any information postmarked by July 1. OSU will accept the July 18 national ACT test scores for scholarship consideration for fall 2020.*

  • Entering in the Spring semester? 

    The absolute scholarship deadline for entering OSU in the Spring is the Friday before the semester begins, which is January 10, 2020. All information must have been postmarked prior to this date as well. See the academic calendar here.
