Tips to Apply
Applying for admission is your first step.
We're excited you've decided to apply for admission to Oklahoma State University! Need help getting started? Follow these easy steps to maximize your scholarship opportunities.
-
Choose your application option.
We accept the OSU Application or the Common Application. If you're a first-time freshman applying to multiple colleges or universities, the Common App may be best for you. We don't have a preference; select the one that's right for you, but only submit one application.
-
Submit your essay and leadership and involvement resume
Your application for admission is also your scholarship application. To maximize your scholarship opportunities, you should answer the optional essay and submit your leadership and involvement resume.
-
Ensure your application/scholarship file is complete
Your file isn't complete until we have these items:
- Official high school transcript. Have your high school send OSU your official transcript. More about submitting official documents.
- Completed essay response and leadership and involvement resume.
- Updated ACT/SAT scores. Send OSU your official scores from ACT and SAT when you take the test by including OSU's official code of 3424 for ACT and 6545 for SAT. We also accept test scores reported on your official high school transcript.
