Scholars Day is an invitation-only event for high-achieving students. The program is designed to introduce you to the wide array of outstanding academic programs at Oklahoma State University.
You will have the opportunity to interact with faculty members, engage with current students, learn about The Honors College and research opportunities at OSU and learn about various ways to enhance your OSU experience.
During your Scholars Day Event, you'll start the day with the Dean of the Honors College, Dr. Keith Garbutt as he previews our nationally rated Honors College curriculum. Then you'll attend an academic college session with one of our five colleges. After your lunch (provided), can select the sessions that most interest you, including sessions on Understanding College Financial Aid, Pre-Professional Advising, Leadership & Campus Life/PLC and Multicultural Affairs. You’ll have an option to tour campus which will include Stout Hall where our Honors College Living Learning Program is housed. For those interested, you'll also have the opportunity to join a Vet Med Tour.
Required to attend the event:
1) High school unweighted grade-point average of 3.85 or higher.
2) High school unweighted grade-point average of 3.75 and ACT Composite score of 27 or higher, or SAT score of 1260 or higher (critical reading and math only).
