Steps to apply as a concurrent student

Concurrent students must submit a new application and a signed concurrent approval form for each semester they plan to attend. Application fees, transcripts and test scores do not need to be resubmitted.

Concurrent students may apply for an upcoming semester around the dates listed below. To maximize course options, we would recommend applying as soon as possible to be able to meet with your concurrent advisor.

  • Spring classes (applications open in mid to late August)
  • Summer classes (applications open in mid to late January)
  • Fall classes (applications open in mid to late January)
  1. Review admission requirements

At Oklahoma State University, ALL STUDENTS are encouraged to apply because we individually review each application for our holistic and alternative admission programs. We consider many factors, including your high school GPA, ACT or SAT scores, academic letters of recommendation, leadership experience, community involvement and accomplishments.

  2. Gather and submit your documents

To complete your application, you'll need to:

    • Have your high school send OSU your official high school transcript
    • Submit your ACT, SAT, Pre-ACT or PSAT scores (optional). OSU's official codes are 3424 (ACT) and 6546 (SAT). We also accept test scores reported on your official high school transcript. OSU does not consider the essay component of the ACT/SAT for admission criteria.

    Acceptable official documents

  3. Complete your application

The admissions portal is where you'll complete and submit your application and submit or update any documentation. Once you create an account, you'll be able to log back in at any time to complete or check the status of your application.
