What does it mean to be a Cowboy? Determination, selflessness, grit and keeping your word — just for starters.

How we build Cowboys

From current students to faculty to alumni, Oklahoma State Cowboys live out the Cowboy Code. They face obstacles head on and bring a work ethic that impacts the greater good. We seek to highlight their stories to inspire and highlight what is possible with an OSU degree. Not everyone has what it takes to be a Cowboy. These are the stories of those who are qualified. These are their chronicles.

OSU is changing lives!

WE ARE ALL COWBOYSHailing from all 50 states and 98 countries, we are united by the Cowboy Code.

  • We end the day knowing we gave it everything we had
  • We dream only as big as the sky
  • We know challenges come with pain, but pain will not win
  • We have a passion to do what's right, even when it's hard
  • We stand for what matters, even if we stand alone
  • We finish what we start
  • Being a Cowboy isn't in our clothes, it's in our character
