This is just the beginning of your bright orange future.

Required for all new students, orientation and enrollment welcomes you to campus with an in-depth introduction to campus resources. You'll also get set up with your academic advisor and register for classes.

What to expect

Freshmen

Spend a night on campus for the full orientation experience, or opt for a shorter visit. Virtual options are available for those unable to make it to campus.

Family members are encouraged, but not required, to join orientation sessions. Up to two guests can accompany each student to orientation.

Make the most of your first days on campus!

Beginning with move in, Cowboy Welcome is a week of meaningful experiences, opportunities to make new friends and intentional programming to help you adjust to life on campus. We hope you'll take advantage of this time before classes start and join us as we explore all that OSU has to offer.
