Steps After You Arrive On Campus
Please complete the important steps below to ensure a successful start on campus. We recommend you complete these post-arrival steps one at a time in the order listed.
Need to know what steps must be completed before arriving on campus?

1. Move Into Housing
If you are living on campus, you will go to your assigned desk to check-in. For assistance, the 24-hour service desk phone number for housing and residential life is +1 405-744-3038.
Check our recommendations for essential items to pack, as well as some optional items to bring with you. You can also set up an account to connect to Wi-Fi when you move in.
Note: If you're planning to live on campus, make sure you have completed your housing registration and received your room assignment email before you arrive.

2. Check In at University Health Services (UHS)
International students are required to complete a new student health screening with University Health Services (UHS), located at 1202 W. Farm Rd. Your blood sample will be drawn for a Tuberculosis test.
Please have the following ready when you visit UHS:
- Complete and print the Health History/Immunization form.
- Immunization records for Hepatitis B and measles, mumps and rubella (MMR). All vaccination records must be printed in English.
- Passport
- OSU email address and ID number
Below are the dates and time for walk-in appointments for spring 2026 students:
- January 7, 9 and 13 from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.
UHS will provide you with information about how to access your test results and any follow-up appointments you may need.
When the health screening process is completed, you will receive a yellow clearance card to finish your international student registration. Please upload a photo of this card to the Terra Dotta Portal (See step 3 below).
OSU-Tulsa transfer students will need to call +1 918-595-4109 or visit the Tulsa Health Department, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Full details are available on the UHS Immunizations webpage.

3. Register With International Student Immigration
The following step can only be completed AFTER you enter the United States, as it requires your I-94 form, which can be accessed online.
Log in to the Terra Dotta portal using your O-Key login. From there, click on the Control Center tab to complete the Registration for New Students form. You must complete this step to remove your enrollment hold. If you have not activated your O-Key account, please do so now.
Make sure to scan and attach the following copies to Terra Dotta:- Passport
- United States visa
- Initial I-20 document
- Yellow UHS clearance card
- I-94 for the most recent entry to the U.S.
You do not need to visit the ISS office in person to submit these documents or check if they were received.

4. Enroll In Classes
You are required to register and attend orientation and enrollment. If you have not registered, please visit the orientation and enrollment website for more information.
This session will prepare you for life on campus and allow you to select which courses you will take. Please make sure you complete Steps 2 and 3 before you attend orientation and enrollment.
If you need any further assistance, you can drop by 219 Student Union.
OSU-Tulsa students must also register for orientation and enrollment and email Sarah Vizza to begin enrolling for classes.

5. After Enrollment
Once enrolled, log in to your Terra Dotta portal and fill out the Enrollment Confirmation form. Make sure you have a screenshot or proof of enrollment that shows you have registered for sufficient credit hours. Please note that international students can only enroll in one online course per semester towards the full-time required credit hours. The rest of your classes must be in person or hybrid to meet visa requirements.

6. Pick Up Your I-20
After completing all the required steps and uploading the necessary documents, you can expect an email from ISS within two to three business days notifying you when your I-20 is ready for pickup.
OSU-Stillwater
- To pick up your I-20, please bring your passport and visit the ISS Office in Room 309 Wes Watkins Center.
OSU-Tulsa
- To pick up your I-20, please bring your passport and visit North Hall 357 on the OSU-Tulsa campus. You will be required to sign your I-20 and provide a copy to your designated representative. If you have an employment letter, please bring that document as well for signing.
