Winter training is coming up, and we're excited to connect and keep learning as a team! As a reminder, winter training is required for all Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment staff.

Tuesday, Dec. 9

  • Travel Time for Off-Site Staff

    Time: 8 A.M. - Noon

    Location:  

  • Supervisor Training

    Time: 10 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.

    Location:  

    Staff who supervise full-time staff are required to attend this training. Lunch is provided, and networking will begin at 11:30 a.m. 
  • Lunch on Your Own

    Time: Noon - 1 P.M.

    Location:  

  • Welcome Session

    Time: 1 - 1:30 P.M.

    Majority of our training sessions will be in ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center, though some will be hosted in other buildings.

  • What to Wear

    The dress code is COWBOY CASUAL ALL WEEK, Y’ALL!

    We invite everyone to enjoy cowboy casual the week of winter training. This includes jeans and comfortable shoes since there are elements of walking across campus throughout the schedule. 

    Reminder: OSU or black and orange apparel is required to be considered cowboy casual.

Information for Off-Site Staff

  • Parking
    • All off-site team members who are travelling to Stillwater for training will need to purchase a temporary staff lot parking pass. Valet parking or parking in the Student Union Parking Garage will not be covered by the department as part of your travel this time.
    • Temporary staff lot parking permits are available for purchase at the Parking and Transportation Services office. You may be able to purchase this ahead of time on the OSU’s Parking Portal. Please request a one-week pass for $9 and remember to request a receipt so you can be reimbursed.

  • Hotel Details
    • Off-site team members can check in at the Atherton Hotel on Tuesday, Dec. 9 beginning at 4 p.m. You may leave and store luggage with the Atherton staff anytime before that. Please note that a credit card is required at check-in. There will be a $1 authorization to keep the card on file.
    • Check-out on Dec. 11 is anytime between 8–11 a.m.
