A Year in Review

Taking OSU to new heights of academic and research excellence
On July 1, 2021, 2021, Dr. Kayse Shrum became Oklahoma State University's 19th president, making her the first woman to lead the institution and the first woman to lead a Tier 1, four-year public research university in Oklahoma.
Together, the Cowboy family achieved remarkable milestones during Dr. Shrum’s inaugural year, including the launch of a systemwide strategy process to guide the future of the university, the establishment of the Hamm Institute for American Energy at Oklahoma State University and the Oklahoma Aerospace Institute for Research and Education (OAIRE).
From the grand opening of the Greenwood School of Music and the Ray and Linda Booker OSU Flight Center, to exciting partnerships with organizations like the New York Philharmonic, record-setting research funding figures and enrollment, there’s a lot to celebrate at OSU.
