About the position and selection process
Position summary
Working at the highest executive level of the organization, the CFAO will serve as the OSU system’s lead financial officer, responsible for all budgeting, finance, facilities, human resources, and other duties, as assigned.
As a critical team member of the system’s executive leadership and reporting directly to the president of the OSU system, the CFAO will review and implement a transparent budget process for the OSU system, working in close collaboration with executive team partners, deans and other academic and administrative leaders; improve processes and procedures across the finance and administrative units; and further refine and strengthen the system’s controls environment.
The Senior Vice President and CFAO will join the university at a time of significant momentum as we continue to progress under our strategic plan to become the nation's preeminent land-grant university.
