Why management consulting at OSU?
The Management Consulting option is designed to strengthen problem solving, critical
thinking and analytical skills through the use of case studies and discussion groups.
This option provides students with hands on, real world experience by conducting a
semester long consulting project for an outside business entity.
There are many paths management consulting can take. Many are similar to those of
other business majors, but with a focus on consulting. Potential jobs include:
Business analyst
Project manager
Client relations manager
Consulting organizations often hire entry level consultants for all types of industries
to assist with a variety of projects that may include technology implementations,
marketing strategies and human resources restructuring.
