Doctorate in Business Administration option in Finance
A Ph.D. in business administration with a concentration in finance prepares students
for careers in academia, business or government. A successful student will demonstrate
research competency and develop teaching skills. The small class size allows for extensive personal interaction with faculty as well
as maintaining the quality of the program. Our graduates have benefited from this
approach with an assortment of attractive employment opportunities.
The 60 credit hour program is for candidates who have completed a master’s degree
prior to beginning the doctoral program.

The Finance Department has its own set of requirements for admittance, along with
requirements for the OSU Graduate College. The Ph.D. program places primary attention on competency rather than formal credit

Statement of career goals in a a maximum of three pages.
