What is Master's in Program Name

Agribusiness targets the skills needed for careers including food and fiber production, processing and marketing.
OSU students absorb a blend of agriculture and business subjects that will help them in a variety of careers. Graduates work with agricultural advisers, processing firms, food and fiber product sellers, farm input supply firms, banks, utilities and educational institutions.

Curriculum

The Master of Agriculture in agribusiness degree in the OSU Department of Agricultural Economics is intended for students with a bachelor's degree in a field other than agricultural economics such as animal science, agricultural communications, horticulture, or plant science. The program of study is more flexible than a typical MBA program and is directly related to agriculture. The Master of Agriculture degree is a non-research degree and does not prepare students for advanced study at the PhD level. Students with a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics or related field, or students who plan to pursue a PhD should enroll under the Agricultural Economics Master of Science degree option.
