The food science graduate program is built upon the principles of academics and research. One of the aspects of our program that makes the program unique is its access to the Food and Agricultural Products Center. FAPC provides a dynamic research environment for graduate students seeking hands-on application of their education.

Admissions

To apply for the food science graduate degree program students must provide the following:

  • Submit an application for admission to the OSU Graduate College
  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores
  • Curriculum vitae or résumé
  • Personal statement explaining why you are interested in the graduate program
  • Three letters of reference

 

Cost and Assistance

Many students help finance graduate education through part-time, paid employment as a graduate assistant. As a graduate assistant, you can expand and apply your knowledge and skills under the supervision of faculty or staff.
