Get (Hospitality and Tourism) Analytical

Data Analytics field remains one of the most resilient and sought-after areas for hospitality and tourism professionals. A certificate in Hospitality and Tourism Analytics is designed to produce professionals who can convert data repositories into actionable insight for better decisions to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in the Hospitality and Tourism businesses.

Overview

This certificate will help to gain high-level strategic thinking and analytical skills in the areas of revenue management and business analytics. Specifically, this certificate will help to apply information systems as tools in forecasting, revenue management, customer-relationship management and other issues in Hospitality and Tourism-related businesses. Skills gained will ultimately enable students to build competencies for advancing career to upper-level managerial positions. Those enrolled in the graduate certificates will be able to transfer the credit hours to the MS in Hospitality and Tourism Management degree at a later date.

Admissions requirements and deadlines

For fall admission, application must be complete by July 1 of the same year.

For spring admission, application must be complete by December 1 of the prior year.

 

All transcripts from bachelor degree studies as well as a CV/resume must be submitted by the deadline in order to be reviewed for admission. Applications that are incomplete at the deadline will not be reviewed. This application does not require recommendation letters, purpose statement or entrance exams such as the GMAT or GRE.
