Basic business knowledge is in high demand for professionals in many fields including
engineering, education, geology, fire safety, etc. A graduate certificate in business
can prepare an individual to move from technical or line positions to supervision
and management. The certificate can also help individuals better understand the basic
aspects of business as they serve in roles such as business owning, teaching, government
leading and more.
The Graduate Certificate in General Business is unique because it provides a general
business foundation that can stand alone in helping individuals have a better grasp
on the fundamentals of running a business and serve as a launching point for then
earning an MBA. This certificate may also serve as an adjunct for attaining basic
business knowledge in conjunction with other post-graduate degree or certificate paths.
