Create your business

From learning how to build to how to maintain a business, a certificate in entrepreneurship will help you create a business unique to your industry. Entrepreneurial skills are critical to identifying and evaluating the factors that will lead to success.

Overview

The graduate certificate in entrepreneurship consists of a 12-credit hour program, can be completed in one year and is designed to provide advanced, educationally based competencies in entrepreneurship. The curriculum model is built around four key learning components: theory, concepts & frameworks, competencies and experiential learning.

 

Coursework

Admissions requirements and deadlines

For fall admission, application must be complete by July 1 of the same year.

 

For spring admission, application must be complete by December 1 of the prior year.

 

Admission to the graduate certificate in entrepreneurship program requires satisfactory completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Entrepreneurial and other work experience is preferred, but not required.

 

All transcripts from bachelor degree studies as well as a CV/resume must be submitted by the deadline in order to be reviewed for admission. Applications that are incomplete at the deadline will not be reviewed. This application does not require recommendation letters, purpose statement or entrance exams such as the GMAT or GRE.
