Engineering and Technology Management, Graduate Certificate
Get certified in Engineering and Technology Management
The certificate in ETM, consisting of 12 hours of selected ETM courses, can be granted
at any time during a student’s pursuit of the M.S. degree or as a stand-alone effort.
The certificate is a graduate-level credential reflecting knowledge of the discipline
of engineering management.
A graduate certificate is an academic credential earned after completing a short program
of focused study. Graduate certificate programs can serve both as a stepping stone
to more advanced study leading to a master’s or doctoral degree or as a standalone
educational professional achievement to assist an individual in their career. Graduate
certificates are listed on OSU transcripts. The certificate in ETM, consisting of 12 hours of selected ETM courses, can be granted
at any time during a student’s pursuit of the M.S. degree or as a stand-alone effort.
A second application for the certificate must be made through the graduate college.
Admissions requirements for the Certificate program are identical to those of M.S.
program.

Admissions Requirements and Deadlines
The standard for admission to the Master of Science or Certificate in Engineering
and Technology Management programs is for students to possess a bachelor of science
degree or higher in engineering, technology, or physical/mathematical sciences with
a 3.0 GPA.
Professional Track online students are also required to be professionally employed
in a relevant position.
Occasionally applicants not meeting these standards may be granted probationary admission
based upon their overall academic and professional practice history and accomplishments.
The admission requirements and processes for the MSETM degree and the Certificate
in Engineering Management are identical.
An application fee of $50.00 is required for domestic students and $75.00 for international
students.
Most students seeking the certificate in ETM receives some sort of financial assistance
