This graduate certificate program grounded in data science will provide foundational
knowledge and the training to process big data, conduct data-driven analytics, and
conduct predictive analytics. Professionals will acquire knowledge to grow in their
careers and be leaders providing innovative data-driven solutions valuable to their
organizations. It will open better career choices to current students, especially
in the fields of Data Science Machine Learning.
The goal of the big data analytics program is to teach students all facets of the Big Data Analytics life-cycle and methods. The program emphasizes understanding of concepts, algorithms, techniques, and tools essential to big-data. Students will be prepared for real-world data, process and business analytics.

the master's degree in Computer Science.
Admissions Requirements and Deadlines
Graduate students enrolled at OSU who are planning to graduate in the Spring semester
have an application deadline of March 31 of the graduating year.
Graduate students enrolled at OSU who are planning to graduate in a Summer semester
have an application deadline of July 1 of the graduating year.
Graduate students enrolled at OSU who are planning to graduate in a Fall semester
have an application deadline of October 31 of the graduating year.
Applications from those who are not already enrolled at OSU and who are planning to
enter the certificate program only have an application deadline of May 1 for fall enrollment and September 1 for spring enrollment.
