OSU United Way Campaign
OUR GOALS
Oklahoma State University's 2024 Campaign for United Way will kick-off on Thursday, September 12th from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom! All campaign captains and coordinators are invited to attend.
OSU's goal is $300,000 and contributes significantly to the overall $1,000,000 United Way of Payne County goal.
How Does the Campaign Work
Oklahoma State University allows faculty and staff members to participate in the annual United Way campaign through payroll deduction and fundraisers held on campus. OSU is the largest campaign contributor for United Way's campaign. By participating in OSU and United Way's annual campaign, you are making a collective impact on our community.
Coordinators throughout OSU volunteer to organize each department's annual campaign. Coordinators work with the OSU-United Way campaign chairs to determine goals, events and the best way to allow each employee the opportunity to donate
WAYS TO GIVE
This year, OSU employees have many options to give or pledge to United Way, including: payroll deduction, bill me, bank draft, credit card, check or cash. Employees can enter payroll deductions, bill me or bank draft on Banner self-service at my.okstate.edu or at the link below. Employees do not turn in pledge cards for payroll deductions, bill me or bank draft. Amounts are deducted from the first paycheck of the month for bi-weekly employees and on the month-end payroll for monthly employees

Employees wishing to make a one-time credit or debit card payment can visit the link here.
Any cash or checks, either from employee donations or fundraising events, must be collected by the department's United Way coordinator and deposited with the instructions found at the following link. This page also has guidance on how to get help from United Way to take credit card donations or utilize online forms for OSU events or fundraisers.

Through our chili cook-off, we will raise funds for United Way of Payne County in partnership with the Entomology and Plant Pathology Department. During the competition, competitors will prepare chili for voters to judge. You can sample chili for free; each bowl will cost $5. |
How to Get Involved
1. Plan a fundraiser
Work with others in your department to plan a fundraiser. For event ideas, visit the OSU Campaign Toolkit. Plan on hosting an event? Fill out the form below or email it to osuunitedway@okstate.edu to be added to the OSU Events Calendar.
2. Lend a Hand & Participate
Volunteer and be active in your department's fundraising and participate in other department's fundraising as well!
3. Make a Lasting Impact Through Leaders Society
By joining the Leaders Society, you become part of a collective group that drives great community change in Payne County. A donation of $500 or more qualifies you to join this group of difference makers. Learn more here.
4. Join or Plan an Event or Fundraiser
By participating in events or fundraisers, you are not only contributing to United Way but also helping foster a sense of community within your department or division. See what events and fundraiser are coming up above!
