Be responsible, Cowboys

Think before you drink
At Oklahoma State University, we stress the importance of alcohol awareness and community support. If Cowboys are going to drink, they should do so responsibly. Whether you are a part of Greek life, residential housing or a brand new student going through freshman orientation at OSU, the university has programs, educational resources and outlets available to help you maintain healthy habits and respond to alcohol and substance abuse challenges.

Think before you drink

Responsible means 21 and over
OSU students are expected to accept responsibility for their learning, personal behavior and future success, and students should appropriately challenge others to do the same. For those under 21, there is nothing responsible about breaking the law. If you are under 21, you should not be drinking. If you are 21 or older and choose to drink alcohol, it is important to consume responsibly. Never drink and drive. Set and know your limits, and put safety first.

Cowboys for alcohol responsibility

The OSU Police Department and other campus departments offer a variety of classes and events to educate students on the risks of alcohol consumption and tips on how to stay safe and make good, responsible choices. Stay tuned for updates on upcoming learning opportunities.
