Campus Mental Health Action Plan

In response to the growing need for expanded mental health services across campus, OSU’s Division of Student Affairs has launched a Mental Health Action Plan in order to bring together additional communications, services and programs for both students and employees.

2021 Action Plan at a Glance

Communications Campaign

The “Let’s Talk About It” awareness campaign is designed to encourage open dialogues about mental health struggles and shine a spotlight on the growing range of mental health support and resources available to OSU employees and students.

Wellness Days

As students navigate the spring semester, the need for dedicated days off will be more important than ever. OSU has designated February 3, March 4 and April 13 as official Wellness Days where no classes take place and special activities will be available across campus.

Expanded Wellness Programming

The Department of Wellness has planned an extensive array of programming, events, videos and more for the spring semester to assist with improving mental health for our campus community.

JED Campus Status

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving mental health on campus, OSU is proud to be a part of the national JED Campus program. Working with campus leaders and professionals, the JED Foundation helps to create campus-wide prevention and intervention strategies and advises on best-practice mental health policies, programs and services.
