OSU Supportive Measures
Supportive measures
For anyone impacted by sexual violence
We encourage students who are impacted by sexual violence to reach out so we can discuss options. Impacted individuals do not need to share their experience in detail to receive support. Students can expect that staff in the office of Student Support & Conduct will listen to them, offer supportive measures, and empower them to make a decision of their own. We are partners with many university and community resources, such as various counseling services, Stillwater Medical Center, Wings of Hope, and the Iowa Tribe Victim Services, to help those impacted by sexual violence are supported.
Please reach out if you or a friend needs help.
Student Support and Conduct can assist students and those impacted by sexual violence in many ways.
- Assist in reporting the incident to the police.
- Implement a no contact order between involved parties.
- Assist with obtaining a court-ordered emergency protective order.
- Adjust living arrangements.
- Provide academic assistance.
- Alter campus work schedules.
- Assess and implement safety needs.
