The OSU Police Department is here to help.

The OSU Police Department takes reports of sexual violence seriously. First, students who wish to report will talk to a trained dispatcher and go over preliminary details of the incident. If the incident took place off-campus, the investigation will be transferred to the Stillwater Police Department. If it’s an on-campus incident, a responding officer will talk to the reportee, taking notes and asking questions. A few days later, a detective will follow up to gather more information. OSU PD empowers reportees by allowing them to choose how or if the investigation moves forward and honoring that decision.

On-campus support is here if you need it

The OSU Police department app also offers our Rave Guardian app with features to help you report sexual violence or you can call 911 if it is an emergency.

If you need help through this process, victim advocates can be reached Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. at 405-564-2129 or by email at advocate@okstate.edu. Students can also find support at 328 Student Union.

During the evenings and weekends, students can contact Wings of Hope for advocacy services at 405-624-3020.

Student Support and Conduct can assist students in reporting the incident to the police, implement a no contact order between two involved parties, and assist with obtaining a court-ordered emergency protective order. They can also implement supportive measures, including rearranging living arrangements, academic assistance, altering campus work schedules, and connecting students to counseling services.
