From the president: maximum impact strategy
Tuesday, May 17, 2022
Cowboy family,
Thank you for continuing to provide critical input to our ongoing strategy development process. To date, we have received more than 940 responses to our first three survey questions. Taken together with thoughts we are gathering from a host of in-person sessions across the state and beyond will help inform the strategy’s development and shape the creative ideas that will propel the university system forward. We deeply value the broad-based participation and appreciate your input.
Through our campuses in Tulsa (Center for Health Sciences and OSU-Tulsa), Okmulgee, Oklahoma City and Stillwater, OSU offers more than 300 majors and minors, 200 graduate and professional academic degrees, research that benefits society, service to our state through Extension and certifications through polytechnics for industry. Advancing OSU’s reputation and impact as a premier land-grant university will mean leveraging our campuses across the state to contribute even more to the communities that need us most.
Today, we ask for your help again in thinking through the question:
What can OSU do to develop a unified, effective and efficient system that leverages its campuses and infrastructure for maximum impact on society?
Please share your thoughts here by Friday, May 27.
Thank you and Go Pokes!
Dr. Kayse Shrum
President
