Welcome online students!
Even from the comfort of your home, you'll feel the sense of community and belonging as part of the Cowboy family. As an online student, you're required to register for a virtual orientation program. Once registered, you'll be prompted to begin the Cowboy 360 online modules.
First-Time Freshmen
All incoming first-time freshmen must submit the $300 enrollment deposit before registering for their required online orientation and enrollment session. If you're eligible for an application fee waiver, Oklahoma's Promise or a Pell Grant (as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student AId), you may defer your payment to your Bursar bill for your first semester at OSU. The enrollment deposit can be refunded in part ($250) for those who cancel admission by May 1.
Transfer Students
All transfer orientation and enrollment programs, including online, require a $100 per student fee, which is paid upon program registration and fully refundable for those who cancel admission by May 1. If you're eligible for an application fee waiver, Oklahoma's Promise or a Pell Grant (as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid), you may defer your payment to your Bursar bill for your first semester at OSU.
Cowboy 360 Modules
Once you've registered for orientation and enrollment, you'll be prompted to begin the Cowboy 360 online modules, which provide an in-depth overview of resources and helpful tips and tricks. These required online modules will take approximately 90 minutes to complete and can be started/stopped at any point.
New Student Advising Form
Complete and submit your required advising form through your application portal on your enrollment checklist.
Enrollment
Once you've completed the modules and the New Student Advising Form, you'll receive more information on how to schedule your academic advising appointment and enroll in classes during your designated enrollment period.
