About Kyle Wray
Long before he became Oklahoma State University’s biggest champion, Kyle Wray, a native of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, has taken his love of horses, boots, bull riding and the grit that inevitably goes along with it into everything he’s done from degrees to pastimes. Kyle found a professional home at Oklahoma State University in 2004 as the director of marketing and began leading the university’s approach to enrollment management in 2008.
Multiple record-setting enrollment years have followed, with the largest freshman class in 2022 and the largest undergraduate class in 2023. In 2024, OSU’s enrollment of first-time freshmen topped 5,000, marking another new record among many for the third straight year.
Appointed in July 2021 as a senior member of the president’s leadership team, Kyle now serves as senior vice president for system affairs at Oklahoma State, providing strategic leadership for the president’s office and OSU branch campuses.
Kyle also serves as an associate board member of the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, preserving and exhibiting an internationally renowned collection of Western art and artifacts while sponsoring dynamic educational programs to stimulate interest in the enduring legacy of the American West. In addition, Kyle serves as trustee on the Dexter G. Johnson Educational and Benevolent Trust, providing medical care assistance and scholarships to Oklahoma high schools, Oklahoma State University, University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma City University.
