Program-Specific Admission Criteria

Some academic colleges and programs have specific admission criteria beyond the standard undergraduate admissions requirements or may require additional steps to be admitted to a program or major.

College of Arts and Sciences

Freshman and transfer admission to the following programs requires a separate audition process with the department:

College of Education and Human Sciences

Students pursuing the Professional Pilot major option are admitted to Aerospace Administration and Operations and then moved to Professional Pilot if admitted through the required secondary application process.

Education and Human Sciences	Child and Family Services Early Childhood Education Elementary Education Family and Consumer Sciences Education Apparel Design and Technology Fashion Merchandising Interior Design	30 hours or less: 2.0 GPA 31-45 hours: 2.25 GPA 46+ hours: 2.5 GPA
Education and Human Sciences	Nutritional Sciences	2.5 GPA
Education and Human Sciences	Professional Pilot	Students are admitted to Aerospace Administration and Operations and moved to Professional Pilot if admitted through secondary application process.
Education and Human Sciences	Nursing: RN to BSN	Students are admitted to Pre-BSN and moved to RN to BSN if approved by college.
