between human, animal and environmental health. These interdisciplinary projects are
conducted in multiple areas across the state. Our researchers are striving to discover
how people, animals and the environment can safely rely on each other to preserve
global health and food security.
Where is aerospace research reaching new heights?
Orange is the Answer. Through the LaunchPad Center for Advanced Air Mobility at OSU-Tulsa’s Helmerich Research
Center, OSU engineers and researchers will partner with industry leaders to promote
the development of new technologies in advanced air mobility. The LaunchPad Center
will support the deployment of emerging aviation technologies, including unmanned
aerial systems with uses ranging from critical infrastructure inspection and agricultural
monitoring to emergency response and last-mile delivery.
Who is investing in rural communities?
Orange is the Answer. With a recent $15 million investment from the National Institute of Food and Agriculture,
OSU is working with new members of the agricultural workforce. The Rural Renewal Initiative
team is meeting a need for interdisciplinary research and Extension training programs
for undergraduate students — departing from traditional methods to provide innovative
new approaches to community development.
