What is Pete's Path?

This program is an opportunity for students who don't meet our regular admission requirements to join the Cowboy family their freshman year and enjoy access to all our campus resources and amenities as an OSU student.

Students will take courses on both the OSU-Stillwater and NOC-Stillwater campuses for at least one academic year as part of a cohort.

Eligibility and Application Process

Those interested in Pete's Path must first apply for admission to OSU as a first-time freshman. If a student is denied or deferred admission to OSU (after committee review), they'll will have the opportunity to opt-in to the program beginning the spring semester of their senior year of high school. Students must start Pete's Path the fall semester following high school graduation.

Once a student opts-in and is admitted to the program, no additional admissions application is needed (for OSU or NOC).

All students are required to submit the $300 enrollment deposit and register for their orientation and enrollment program.

Coursework

Once admitted to Pete's Path, students will enroll in a limited number of OSU courses and the remaining credit hours will be completed at NOC-Stillwater. All courses must be completed in person; no online courses will be offered as part of this program. Students will take courses alongside their peers in the program as part of a cohort, which provides maximum opportunities for success.
