Nursing
What is nursing?
Nursing is an essential part of the health care team, encompassing health promotion, illness prevention and care provision to people of all ages, in various health care and community settings. Knowledge and experience gained from a BSN program prepares nurses to provide exceptional care in the challenging health care environment and offers more opportunities for employment and advancement, as well as higher pay. Admission into the professional Nursing program is a competitive process that requires a supplemental application.
