Mathematics

Be prepared to teach mathematics in grades 6-8 by completing in-depth study of mathematics concepts from algebra to calculus, in addition to adolescent development, learning theory, mathematics teaching methods and the meaningful use of instructional technology in the classroom.

Preparing for the Digital Classroom

You will gain in-depth knowledge of instructional methods, including teaching effectively with technology. We offer support for those pursuing Apple Teacher and Google Educator certifications, and we partner with the Emerging Technologies and Creativity Research Lab to explore imaginative ways to improve research, teaching and learning with emerging technologies.
