Financial aid checklist

Become part of the 80% of OSU students who receive scholarships and financial aid. It is as easy as 1-2-3.

1. Apply for admission

When you apply to OSU, you're automatically applying for scholarships as well.

  • OSU application
  • Transfer scholarships
  • 2. Complete the FAFSA

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opens October 1 for the following school year. OSU's school code is 003170. Certain funding is limited and earliest applicants receive priority.

  • FAFSA website
  • Step-by-step guide
  • 3. Stay connected

Some items need follow-up action from you for your aid to be processed. Make sure you check for updates in these places.

  • Activate your O-Key account
  • Check your financial aid status
  • Check your OSU email account
  • Contact us if you need help
