Family Weekends at OSU are a great time to visit your student on campus and spend some quality time together. We host two designated Family Weekends per year, with one in the fall semester and one in the spring semester. In the past, these were also called Dad’s Day or Mom’s Day which led to some confusion. We're all in the same Cowboy Family, so let’s make this easy. Family Weekends are for anyone you call family whether they're in the family group text or not.

Schedule of Events:

• Family Weekend Check-in (No pre-registration required.)
  • 1st floor of the Student Union, Outside the University Store
  • Friday, April 25 | 1-7 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 26 | 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Pick up your Family Weekend button and pre-ordered Family Weekend t-shirts.
  • Get information and directions to weekend activities.
  • Enter a drawing for two tickets to the Fall Family Weekend Cowboy Football game against University of Tulsa Golden Hurricanes on Sept. 20, 2025. 
• "Alice By Heart" presented by the OSU Department of Theatre
  • Shows daily, Apr. 25-27 | Vivian N ail Locke Theatre, Seretean Center for Performing Arts
  • Take a journey into the captivating world of "Alice By Heart," where the timeless story of "Alice in Wonderland" is set against the backdrop of World War II London. Join Alice and her friend Alfred as they seek shelter from the chaos of the Blitz in an underground tube station. As bombs fall and the city is gripped by uncertainty, Alice and Alfred find comfort in the enchanting realm of Wonderland, blurring the boundaries between reality and imagination. With captivating music, dynamic choreography, and compelling storytelling, "Alice by Heart" is an inspiring musical that celebrates imagination, resilience, and the transformative power of theater.

• Speedfest XIV
  • Daily, Apr. 25-27 | Times To be Determined | OSU Unmanned Aircraft Flight Station
  • Speedfest is an exciting, high-speed aircraft design competition. There are three flight classes that allow for teams to enter at different levels of difficulty and interest. Come watch the competition and take in the amazing ingenuity of OSU students!
• Euphoria Fashion Show
  • Friday, April 25 | 8-10 p.m. | ConocoPhillps OSU Alumni Center
  • The Department of Design and Merchandising annually hosts Euphoria, a high-energy runway fashion show featuring garments designed and created by junior and senior students majoring in fashion design and production. Open to the public, tickets to the event support department scholarships and students gain valuable, hands-on experience in planning and executing all aspects of the event.
  • Tickets range from $25-75 and may be purchased here.
• Spring Sing
  • The annual singing competition produced and performed by the fraternity and sorority community.
  • Purchase tickets for Spring Sing through the link provided on the Fraternity and Sorority Productions website.
• Community Activities
  • From car shows to karaoke, there's lots going on throughout the Stillwater community during spring Family Fest.
