Dr. Amy Gazaway
Assistant Director of Student and Family Engagement
Dr. Amy Gazaway, Assistant Director of Student and Family Engagement, is from Lawton, OK. Dr. Gazaway earned her Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Oklahoma State University. As an active student leader during her undergraduate years and scholar-practitioner of student learning and development, Dr. Gazaway is committed to fostering student engagement both in and outside of the classroom. Because of her role as a parent of two OSU students and experience working with the families of college students for 25+ years, Dr. Gazaway also recognizes the importance of connection between students' families and the university in supporting student development and success. Dr. Gazaway has published research on the relationship between student leadership and academic success and is a sought after speaker on numerous professional development topics.
