We're here to help you transition to OSU by providing robust programs and services to ensure your success. All transfers are required to attend an orientation and enrollment program. You must be admitted before you can register. Please log in to your admissions portal to check your application status and view your checklist.

Spring Orientation and Enrollment Program Options

Please note that all transfer orientation and enrollment programs require a $100 per student fee, which is paid upon program registration and fully refundable for those who cancel admission by May 1. Transfer students who are Oklahoma's Promise or Pell eligible (as determined by the FAFSA) may defer their $100 orientation and enrollment fee.

Full-Day Program

This program option is highly encouraged regardless of your familiarity with campus.

The on-campus, full-day experience begins with check-in at 9:30 a.m. and concludes by 5 p.m.

This program includes sessions such as:

· Campus Resource Fair and Presentations: Check-in with representatives of your Academic College, learn about various support resources, and explore opportunities to get involved in the campus community.
· Provided Lunch: Join us for lunch during your program and get to know your fellow future students.
· Enrollment Training, Academic Advising, and Course Selection: Learn to navigate OSU’s course registration system before meeting with an academic advisor and enrolling in courses.
· Family Support Session: The Family Engagement team will present information about the Cowboy Family Portal, opportunities for campus involvement, and timely information to support your student in succeeding at OSU.
· Drop-In Support with Campus Resources: Stop by various campus resources for day-of support, such as Scholarships & Financial Aid, Housing & Residence Life, and Veteran Benefit Services.
· Campus Tour: See the sights of central campus, focusing on academic buildings and key support offices.

Modified Program

This half-day, on-campus program begins at 9am and concludes by approximately 1pm. Please plan to attend the entirety of this four-hour program.

The Modified Program options provide information at a quicker pace and are recommended for those very familiar with OSU, those who are sure of their major selection or those who typically have quick decision-making skills. This program focuses on academic advising and enrollment, while also introducing you to campus and academic resources and connecting you with peers. Program guests will attend a Family Support Session featuring timely information to support your student in succeeding at OSU.

Virtual Program

This program option is limited to students who live more than 500 miles from Stillwater and cannot make the trip to campus, are in military training during on-campus program offerings, have financial hardships that prevent attendance or will be out of the country during the entirety of on-campus program options.

The virtual program consists of a live (synchronous) session via Zoom, beginning at 8:30am CST. This session provides campus resource information and connects you to an academic advisor for the enrollment process. Participants are highly encouraged to complete the Cowboy 360 Modules prior to this program.
