Unlike other programs that focus solely on test scores, the OSSS is our commitment to nurture and grow talented Oklahoma students who demonstrate academic performance, a proven record of accomplishments and a combination of emotional maturity and native intelligence.
How it works
OSSS criteria
- Minimum 3.8 high school unweighted GPA and 27 ACT or equivalent.
- Oklahoma resident admits prior to February 1 Priority Scholarship Deadline.
- Admitted to Oklahoma State University and the Honors College.
- Completed Scholarship Application — application essays, leadership résumé and high school transcript.

Fellows:
- OSU Regent’s Distinguished Tuition Waiver | $2,500/year for 4 years (or higher award)
- Other competitive awards | Variable
- Oklahoma State Scholars Society Award | Up to $15,000/year for 4 years
- Award will be based on amount of unmet financial need
- Study Abroad award | One-time $4,500 stipend
- Total Estimated Aid | $74,500
