OSU Scholarship Process
In addition to automatic assured scholarships you may qualify for through the admissions process, you can explore and apply for a number of prestigious competitive scholarship award programs. These programs select students based on a variety of factors, including leadership, service, academic and research interests, community involvement, geographic location, financial need and more. Programming requirements, eligibility and deadlines vary.
Apply for Competitive Awards
For maximum scholarship consideration, you should apply for admission and submit updated test scores and your leadership and involvement resume by the Nov. 1 Early Opportunity Scholarship deadline or the Feb. 1 Priority Scholarship Deadline. Once you've applied for admission, you can explore programs you currently qualify for under the "Scholarships" tab in your application portal.

Academic College Scholarships
Based on the major you indicate on your application for admission. Selection may be based on a number of factors, including test scores and GPA, leadership and community service, essays, interviews and/or auditions.
