Acquire marketing analytics skills

This program is designed to help working professionals who do not want to do any coding and who do not want to pursue a full MBA or MS degree yet, but want to acquire marketing analytics skills. Expand your marketing analytics skills by analyzing data with software from major analytics providers like SAS, Tableau and others.

Overview

Working professionals admitted to this program can complete the coursework in 12 to 18 months by taking courses online. The program requires taking courses totaling 12 credit hours, and allows for the courses to be double-counted toward a MBA degree.

 

Coursework

Required courses (6 credit hours):

  • MKTG 5733: Introduction to Marketing Analytics
  • MKTG 5743: Advanced Marketing Analytics

Electives (Select any combination to reach 6 or more credit hours):

  • MKTG 5243: Base SAS® Programming
  • BAN 5511-5561: Short 1 credit hour courses in Web Analytics, GIS Applications in Marketing Analytics, Marketing Optimization, Customer LTV Models in Analytics
  • MSIS 5633: Business Intelligence, Tools and Techniques
  • MSIS 5303: Prescriptive Analytics
  • Other graduate courses as approved by the program director

 

Admissions requirements and deadlines

For fall admission, application must be complete by July 1 of the same year.

 

For spring admission, application must be complete by December 1 of the prior year.

 

All transcripts from bachelor degree studies as well as a CV/resume must be submitted by the deadline in order to be reviewed for admission. Applications that are incomplete at the deadline will not be reviewed. This application does not require recommendation letters, purpose statement or entrance exams such as the GMAT or GRE.
