January 2021 Campus Resident Testing Program

December 8, 2020

As we did in the fall, OSU is requiring COVID testing for all students who live on campus (including Greek housing) this spring semester, with two options available:

Option 1

Student provides proof of a recent negative test (within 1 week of their return). Proof of a recent negative test will be emailed to uhscovid@okstate.edu. If a student is living in Greek housing, that should be noted in the subject line of the email.

Note: Students who recently tested positive (within 90 days) may email proof of the previous positive test to UHS as the CDC does not recommend retesting individuals within 90 days of a positive diagnosis.

Option 2

Student gets tested upon arrival in Stillwater at University Health Services (1202 W. Farm Rd). Students can schedule a test at University Health Services via the patient portal (uhs.okstate.edu) and scheduling will be available any time after January 1. PCR tests will be performed and results typically take 1-2 days. Students awaiting test results should adhere to campus mask policies, practice social distancing, and limit social interaction until test results return.

Students living in Family Graduate Student Housing, should call 744-7665 to schedule testing for dependents as well.Students who do not provide proof of a recent negative test or who do not schedule an appointment by the start of classes (January 19th) will be contacted via University Health Services, Residential Life, or Greek Life. All forms of testing and proof of compliance should be completed by January 22nd.
