Where Cowboy meets culture
Art is alive at OSU
From student capstone projects to museum exhibits, live performances and more, the arts are alive at OSU.
With world-class facilities, like the soon-to-open McKnight Center for the Performing Arts, OSU continues to provide diverse educational opportunities for its students as well as programming for campus visitors including the New York Philharmonic.
There are also a variety of musical events featuring students for you to enjoy! From jazz ensembles to concert bands to choir, the School of Music enriches lives through music education and performance.
Those interested in visual arts can explore the many exhibitions at the OSU Museum of Art — including Metal Works, student capstone projects, and many more throughout the year. In fact, the OSU Museum of Art just received more than 600 works of fine art and design from the George R. Kravis II Foundation for our permanent collection.
Or you can explore student and faculty exhibitions as well as international and national artists at the Gardiner Art Gallery. The gallery also features faculty and student curated shows and traveling exhibitions.
The Prairie Arts Center is a public facility dedicated to the exploration of the arts and the promotion of creativity for all ages and skill levels. Discover your inner artist at one of the many classes, workshops and open studio opportunities!
If you are interested in experiencing theatrical performances, don’t miss out on seeing the talents of OSU theatre students as they perform many productions throughout the year — or take in the local talent at Town and Gown Theatre.
From theatrical performances to symphonic harmonies — there is something for everyone to enjoy!
